BBC Life Of Mammals, Octophonic Traveling Exhibition

I developed an interactive 8 speaker system to replay collections of wildlife sounds with narration by Sir David Attenbourogh. The system allowed complex 8 speaker pans to be programmed and replayed from different speaker points. David would first ask the user to move to the spot where the sound was coming from (denoted by a flashing light), triggering a long piece of narration with accompanying sound.

The travelling exhibition went to 8 prominent museums around the UK, starting with the Natural History Museum, to promote the BBC Life Of Mammals television show.
